Every princess session at Studio James is designed to reflect your little one’s inner beauty and confidence. Whether she’s stepping into a magical fairytale world or simply enjoying the moment, we handle every detail to make sure she feels like royalty.

When and where do these sessions take place?

These exclusive sessions are held in our studio, where we create a dreamy, fairytale-inspired setting. These popular sessions are only available every 1-2 years, so booking as soon as they are released is essential!

Each session is unhurried to allow your child to fully enjoy the experience. We photograph at your child's pace, ensuring they feel comfortable, confident, and completely magical.

Do you provide dresses and accessories, or should we bring our own?

We provide a carefully curated collection of couture princess gowns ranging from $450 to $800 in value. These gowns are breathtaking, timeless, and fit for royalty. We also have a selection of crowns, tiaras, and floral accessories to complete the look.

We have gowns to fit princesses of all ages, from 6 months to teens. When you book, we’ll discuss sizing to ensure we have the perfect gown for your child.

Can siblings be added to these sessions? Are boys allowed?

These are solo sessions, but if you have multiple daughters, you can book two back-to-back sessions, and we’ll capture some overlapping images of them together.

While we don’t have outfits for boys, if you bring an outfit for them, we’d love to create prince or knight-inspired portraits as well!

Will you style my child’s hair or provide any accessories?

If you choose, you can book a hair and makeup session with our artist to style your child’s hair for that extra touch of glamour. We also have crowns, tiaras, floral accessories, and wands to complete the look.

If you book hair styling, please arrive with clean, dry hair.

What happens if my child is sick on the day of the session?

No worries - we understand that little ones get sick! We will reschedule for a later date to ensure they feel their best.

How often do you offer Limited Edition Princess Sessions?

These sessions are offered every 1-2 years, and each time, they are unique and magical. Because they are so rare, they tend to sell out fast!

How long does it take to receive my images?

After your session, we’ll schedule a viewing and ordering appointment, where you’ll see your gorgeous images and choose how you’d like to preserve them. We offer heirloom-quality albums, fine art prints, and luxurious wall art so you can display these portraits beautifully in your home.

We capture a beautiful variety of portraits during the session, and the number of images you will receive depends on the package you choose. Many parents fall in love with more images than they expected., so additional images and product upgrades are available.
