Your baby’s first Christmas is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone so we brought back one of our most beloved friends from our Christmas Magic sessions – Jingle, the polar bear – to join the fun!
Our Baby’s First Christmas sessions give you the perfect Taste of Christmas Magic!
FOR BABIES BORN IN 2024
Babies participate in 2 magical setups – riding our polar bear and hanging with Rudolph!
These baby-only sessions are designed specially for babies 0-12 months. Our setups are adjusted for their age and ability, and are performed safely.
Our Taste of Christmas Magic is $350 (+tax) and includes:
🎄 2 hand-edited digital image files with our magical enhancements
🎄 Baby’s First Christmas ornament
🎄 25 minute session in our Calgary studio
🎄 Immediate viewing and image selection
🎄 Complimentary session fee to our 2025 Christmas Magic session held in November ’25.
FAQ
What is the age range?
These sessions are for a Baby’s First Christmas so your baby can join in if they were born this year. Our regular Christmas Magic sessions are INCREDIBLE but they’re a bit daunting for an under one year old (if there’s no sibling to join them), that’s why we designed these sessions – so you can still enjoy the magic!
What if my baby can't sit?
Our Christmas photo sessions are designed specifically for your baby’s age and abilities. You’ll fill in a questionnaire when you book that asks your child’s age and milestones. From there, Jaime will plan the most magical session with poses for your baby.
My baby makes strange, can we still book?
Absolutely! Making strange is a normal part of development and Jaime is experienced at photographing shy babies. Because we ask before your session, Jaime takes a different approach with your child and the results are amazing.
Can siblings join in?
The Taste of Christmas Magic is for babies-only but please ask us about our full Christmas Magic sessions which are perfect for siblings!
What should my baby wear?
Whatevery you like! We always write our Christmas Magic storybooks for kids in jammies – they’re cute and easy. So, if you’re thinking you might like us to become your Christmas tradition, your baby could wear jammies. But, really, your little one can wear whatevery you think is adorable!
Is this safe for my baby?
100%! Baby safety is number 1 for us. Your baby will be held or spotted at all times.
What if my baby doesn't cooperate?
In all of our years of business, we have yet to deliver incredible portraits to our clients! We approximate that sessions will take 25 minutes but we leave extra time so we have it if we need it.
What if the dates available don't work for us?
If you aren’t available on any of our open dates, please contact us at 403-630-3070 and we’ll see if we can find a time that’s more convenient.
